内容简介：

Let G be a symplectic or orthogonal group defined over a finite field with odd characteristic and let D ≤ G be a Sylow 2-subgroup. In this paper, we classify the essential 2-subgroups and determine the essential 2-rank of the Frobenius category F_D(G). Together with the previous results, this completes the work of essential subgroups and essential ranks of classical groups.

讲座人简介：

徐勇，博士，河南科技大学数学与统计学院教授，硕士生导师，河南省青年骨干教师，河南科技大学青年学术带头人，河南科技大学优秀教师。博士毕业于苏州大学，先后在西南大学数学流动站做博士后研究，新西兰奥克兰大学做访问学者，主要从事有限群论的研究。主持国家自然基金项目2项，中国博士后基金1项，在《Science China Mathematics》、《Communications in Algebra》、《Proceedings of the Edinburgh Mathematical Society》等国内外重要期刊上发表学术论文30余篇，其中SCI、EI检索期刊20余篇。
